Ever had any troubles scheduling household services like that of a plumber or an electrician? Yes, during the pandemic all these essential services were terminated, which resulted in sudden increase in demand of these services.
Ever had the urge to donate your old clothes, your childhood favorite toys, that shiny set of cutlery which just doesn’t fit with your ceramicware, unused goods but ended up throwing the lot in the trash just because you didn’t have the means to do the generous act?
If your answer is YES to the questions, then ACCORD is the solution.
Via Accord, you can employ household services or donate your goods at the same time. Basically, you will be contributing towards the employment of our country which has already taken a serious hit.
The donations which you make will be given to the certified NGOs via verified channels.
Pretty neat, right?
The App Has 3 basic login choices. You can either:
1. Employ the services
2. Provide the service
3. Get affiliated with Accord as an NGO.
Each segment benefits from the other in some way. You use our service and pay for it. Your work gets done. The services provided to you is via a Service Provider. He/She gets employed. They get a viable source of income. Moreover, some of these workers will be migrants affiliated with an NGO. So, indirectly you are contributing towards the betterment of society. The material you donate will also be provided to the NGOs. Points for social work!
It is a self-sustaining model where it is ensured that no resource is wasted.
Accord has a minimalistic design and is aimed to be User Friendly. Each type of user will be given a different interface concerning their purpose. Seamless blue, white and black theme provides the user with a comfortable and a simple experience. Here are a few Snapshots of the app for your reference. Each type of user will have different set of requirements and all our data will be stored on a secure Google Firebase Database.
An interactive live tracking system will tell you when will the service person arrive at your location. You can either schedule your service or reserve an immediate booking. Without any hassle.
A 3-month effort by a team of 5 people. The result was this app, ACCORD. By inculcating the robust backend performance of Firebase and a detailed frontend action of the Android Studio, Accord aims to cater to the service-related needs as well as contribute towards the betterment of the society in one go.
